Guiseppe Rossi should be back before Christmas after an encouraging recovery from his knee injury.

The former Manchester United striker is close to a return following a frustrating month on the sidelines, and hopes to pick up where he left off in the battle to top the goal charts.

“I’m feeling good, and I’ve recovered well,” said the Italy under-21 international.

“Therefore I hope to be able to play before the Christmas holidays.
“I’ve worked a lot, and with great intensity, in order to be able to come back.
