After his shock move from Manchester Utd in the summer Rossi is loving life in the Spanish League. The 20 year old has had massive success already scoring 7 goals in 10 games before an injury. He has since recovered and played one game. He hopes to continue his amazing goal scoring achievements.

Giuseppe Rossi has been injured and will be out for six weeks after he picked up a knee injury in the 4-3 win at Atletico Madrid.

After scoring his 7th goal of the season, the 21-year-old was stretchered off just before half-time and subsequent scans have now confirmed the extent of the blow.

Rossi has suffered a break to external meniscus and stretched the cruciate ligaments.

The Spanish side have beaten a host of Italian clubs to the highly-rated striker’s signature.

The six-year deal is subject to the 20-year-old American-born Italian passing a medical on Wednesday.

Rossi spent the second half of last season on loan at Parma and he impressed at the Ennio Tardini.

United have decided to let Rossi leave Old Trafford as he is well down the pecking order in Sir Alex Ferguson’s plans.
